Zhanseit Tuimebayev: Our goal is economy of simple things and small and medium business development

National Academic Library hosted an extended meeting of the Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan with authorized state bodies and public associations.

Within the framework of the meeting, an exhibition of domestic manufacturers and craft products was organized, where products of decorative and applied arts, jewelry, as well as clothing of the Kazakhstani brand were presented.

In the course of the meeting Deputy Chairman - Head of Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanseit Tuimebayev highlighted the importance of implementation of the instructions of the Chairman of the Assembly - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, given at the XXVII Session of APK.

"Today we are consolidating entrepreneurs, regardless of ethnicity. We attract investments, new technologies and ideas from countries of historical origin of ethnic minorities. Our goal is "Economy of Simple Things" and the development of small and medium business. This creates real jobs and solves social problems. Today, the Association has grown as a business development institution. It consolidates more than 200 enterprises and business associations. Regional representative offices have been established in all regions. A single front office was opened in Nur-Sultan. The Business Incubator and the Import Substitution and Cooperation Center function as a virtual platform. To help young people, an Expert Council has been created to select youth startups and business ideas, and the work of the Council of Young Entrepreneurs of the Youth Entrepreneurship - General Innovation Association has been organized. A technopark has been created on the basis of the school-gymnasium No. 83 in Nur-Sultan, where the most popular professions are taught.

Deputy Head of APK reminded that the Head of State noted the need to fully use the potential of "Economy of Simple Things".

"The possibilities of furniture, food, textile and construction industries have not been disclosed yet. These are labour-intensive sectors that simultaneously solve the problems of productive employment and structural diversification of the economy. In addition, a number of instructions on agriculture, housing construction directly relate to domestic entrepreneurs. As you know, the head of state has repeatedly pointed out the need for all ethnic groups of the country to participate in the development of entrepreneurship. Today we have a number of successful projects in agriculture, construction, and services in our portfolio. But the scale of the tasks set, the severity of social issues requires us to rapidly increase the Kazakhstani content in all sectors of the economy," said Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

According to him, it is no coincidence that N.A. Nazarbayev raised the issue "On measures to ensure a qualitatively new level of activity of APK’s Entrepreneurs Association, strengthening its composition by leading representatives of the business community".

Zhanseit Tuymebayev noted the need to organize close cooperation with the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

"Firstly, it is necessary to designate the responsible official of Chamber on work with Entrepreneurs Association.

Secondly, to introduce the institute of mentors from the representatives of large businesses in certain areas of the Association of Entrepreneurs by agreement with the Assembly’s Secretariat.

Thirdly, to organize interaction of regional structures of NPP "Atameken" with regional branches of the Association of Entrepreneurs of ANK.

Fourth, to ensure the involvement of the members of the Association of Entrepreneurs in the programs to promote business development of Atameken. For example, in work of the Project Office on monitoring of the Program of preferential crediting of priority projects.

Fifth, the development of specific "anchor" projects with a focus on practical results," the speaker said.

As a result of the meeting, the following objectives were set:

First. Within a month to develop a road map for the implementation of the instructions of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev given at the XXVII session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. The Code is the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

All interested state bodies, institutions and departments, and public associations should submit their proposals by August 10.

Ministries of Foreign Affairs, national economy to determine the official not lower than the deputy minister, personally responsible for the implementation of orders of Elbasy and work with the Association of Entrepreneurs.

Second. All this work should not be concentrated only at the national level. Association of Entrepreneurs should actively work in the regions. In the first decade of September to prepare republican meeting of Association of businessmen with participation of all regions.

Third. The Association's activity remains insufficiently covered in the information field. "Qogamdyk Kelisim" MPI together with the Association to work out the issues of information promotion on the portal of APK, in mass media and social networks.

Following the results of the meeting, the entrepreneurs who contributed to the work of the Assembly’s Entrepreneurs Association were awarded letters of gratitude and a memorable sign "Meyirim".
