ZHANSEIT TUIMEBAYEV: APK SUPPORTS OUR COMPATRIOTS IN HOUR OF NEED
Deputy Chairman - Head of APK’s Secretariat of Executive Office of the President of RK Zhanseit Tuimebayev told about active participation of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in a public and political life of the country at XVIII Session of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Nur-Sultan.
In his speech, Head of APK expressed confidence that capital assembly will be the reliable assistant of the new mayor - Chairman of capital Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Altay Kulginov.
"It is no secret that under his leadership West Kazakhstan Assembly has always been among the first of the regional assemblies," Zhanseit Tuimebayev said and wished good luck.
Also APK’s Head of Secretariat has reminded that on recently taken place extraordinary elections of the President of the country by ethno-cultural associations the all-republican electoral action in support of Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev's candidacy "Our choice - unity and accord!”
"The work of the Assembly contributed to the involvement of the broad masses of the country's population in the electoral process and stimulated the electoral activity of representatives of all ethnic groups of Kazakhstan. The Assembly has always supported and supported our compatriots in the hour of trial," Deputy Chairman said.
According to him, this was demonstrated by recent events in Arys. Thus, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan has started to provide humanitarian aid to the victims and evacuees of Arys all over the country. In particular, on June 24, Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in Shymkent opened a republican headquarters for the collection of humanitarian aid for victims and evacuees on the basis of the Turkestan Region’s House of Friendship. Collecting centres points were opened at the regional Friendship Houses.
"Ethnocultural associations of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan have transferred more than 4.7 million tenge, secretariats of APK and state institutions "Kogamdyk kelisim" of all levels transferred a one-day salary" Zhanseit Tuimebayev mentioned.
According to the speaker, the funds were directed to the corporate social development fund "Turkestan".
In addition, ethno-cultural associations have organized assistance in the form of essential goods and products and hygiene products. The participation of young people in providing assistance was also noted.
"Within the framework of the project "JAGSYLYQJASA" on June 26, the republican youth movement of APK "Zhangyru Zholy" launched an action to form volunteer groups to travel to Turkestan region" Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan said.
He expressed his gratitude to all members of the capital's Assembly, who work in this direction and added that today all associations continue to actively work on the collection of assistance, and other events are planned in APK’s other structures.
