Youth health centers of Kazakhstan to hold open days

In the period from March 1 to March 7, 2023, Open Days will be held in all regions of the country in Youth Health Centers aimed at preventive work among young people, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan .

Preventive work is aimed at informing and educating young people, forming safe behavior and necessary life skills.

In its activities, the centre uses effective technologies aimed at preserving health, reducing risky behavior among adolescents, social support and protecting their rights based on the principles of goodwill, accessibility, voluntariness and trust.

An important area of work of specialists is to provide assistance to adolescents and young people who find themselves in a difficult life situation.

The services of the Youth Reproductive and Mental Health Centres are provided by:

- minors between the ages of 10 and 18;

- Young people under 29 years of age.

Within the framework of the information campaign, special attention will be paid to raising awareness of adolescents and young people on reproductive and mental health issues through consultations of specialists (obstetrician-gynecologist, urologist, dermatovenerologist, psychologist), psychological counseling and training seminars.
