Youth Forum of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan held in Dushanbe
The Forum of Youth of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan is being held in Dushanbe. The parties are discussing key issues of youth policy,El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Among the participants are leaders of youth movements, representatives of government agencies, entrepreneurs of the two states.
The Kazakh delegation was headed by the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information
"Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are linked by deep historical, cultural and economic ties. However, the future of our countries largely depends on how we support and develop our youth. It is the younger generation that is the engine of change, innovation and progress in our region," Kairat Kambarov said.
The main goals of the meeting are to develop interaction between youth organizations of the two countries and develop joint strategies to solve urgent youth problems. In particular, the forum discusses the development of the volunteer movement, youth entrepreneurship and mechanisms for supporting startups. Following the forum, the parties signed a resolution on cooperation.
