World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sports ended in Almaty

The closing ceremony of the Championship was attended by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Chingis Arinov and the Andrei Kalinin, Director of the Executive Committee of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuer, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The winners were awarded cups, medals, diplomas and prizes.

Speaking to athletes and the public, the Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan Chingis Arinov noted that the competitions held in the spirit of fire brotherhood will further strengthen cooperation and friendly ties between the emergency rescue services of our countries.

The strongest athletes from Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Russia, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic took part in the world championship. Representatives of Saudi Arabia were present as observers.
