The January program of Astana Opera’s Kulyash Baiseitova Chamber Hall will end with a concert of talented instrumentalists, students of the famous violinist and conductor, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Askar Duisenbayev, El.kz cites astanaopera.kz.

On January 31, at the Violin and Its Friends concert, the viewers will witness the lasting connection and deep respect between the teacher and his students.

It is worth noting that many successful musicians who studied with the excellent teacher, Professor of the KazNUA Askar Duisenbayev, today work in the most prestigious creative collectives in the world, as well as in the capital’s Astana Opera Orchestra.

“Askar Duisenbayev is my mentor. It is not for nothing that they say: “A good teacher has good students.” His rich experience and wise advice have become a light on the path of many young talents. Therefore, the idea of the upcoming concert is a tribute to our teacher,” Violinist Akerke Ali noted. “He is a very deep musician, keenly feeling the slightest nuances of psychological states composers convey in their music. Professor Duisenbayev is a demanding person not only towards his students, but also towards himself. Even after completing our studies, he continues to be a teacher for us, an example of true service to art. I would also like to mention Dana Dusenbayeva, a wonderful musician who will perform the piano part at our concert. Thanks to her support, sensitivity and musicality, you completely surrender to the music during the performance without doubts and fear,” the instrumentalist shared her thoughts.

Askar Duisenbayev himself and his students, who are laureates of international competitions, will perform at the upcoming concert. Among them are Akerke Ali, the Astana Opera orchestra artists Assel Zhakiyanova, Assem Zhakparova, Shalkar Zheldibai, the Astana Ballet Orchestra artists Talshyn Keshilbayeva, Saniya Issabekova, Ardak Kalimoldinova and others. In addition, the musical evening will feature Askar Duisenbayev’s daughters, Adelya and Raikhan Duisenbayevs, who continue their father’s musical path and are his followers.

This evening, the concert participants will demonstrate their skills in duets, quartets and, of course, solo numbers. Famous works by Kazakh and foreign composers, such as Mansur Sagatov, Yevgeniy Brusilovsky, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Antonio Vivaldi, Niccolò Paganini, Camille Saint-Saëns and Manuel de Falla will be performed at the Kulyash Baiseitova Chamber Hall.

“For us, Professor Duisenbayev’s students, the violin is not just an instrument. Our mentor taught us to treat it with great reverence, so much that it has become an important part of our lives. Therefore, the name of the concert Violin and Its Friends was not chosen by chance. I invite everyone to share with us this event filled with respect and gratitude to our teacher, as well as boundless love for high art. I am sure that the gentle and enchanting sound of the violin will touch the hearts of listeners and leave an unforgettable impression,” Akerke Ali concluded.
