When the song brings ...

A concert was held in the house of culture of the city of Shchuchinsk dedicated to the memory of the first ataman of the Schuchinsky department of Yuri Khomullo.. In May 1989, with the initiative and direct participation of Yuri Kuzmich, the first Cossack organization in the region, the Shchuchin Cossack community, was registered. On that first constituent circle, Yuri Kuzmich was elected first ataman of the new Cossack organization and almost invariably headed it until 2012. Having headed the council of elders in 2012, Yuri Kuzmich lived with endless energy in the Cossack life - the life of his organization. Members of the community recall that in his eighty-odd years he was a sample of a Cossack. It was always possible to come to him for advice, with any problem and question, and always get a competent and weighted answer.

Before the audience were the ensemble "Hutorok" from the city of Kokshetau, soloists from Shchuchinsk and guests from the Russian Federation - the folk ensemble "Rodniki" of the Tavrichesky district of the Omsk region. Their calling card is rich vocals and choral singing. Spectators warmly perceived the performances, and confirmation of that was the incessant applause.

Chairman of the Akmola regional branch of OUL "Association of Russian, Slavic and Cossack associations of Kazakhstan" Gennady Osinenko presented guests from Russia a memorable gift and wished everyone present peace, good and further success.

A beautiful song unites and inspires people, energizes and gives joy - this is proved once again by the concert of the Shchuchin Cossacks.
