Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports tells foreign media about tourist places in Kazakhstan

Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Yerkinbayev met with representatives of foreign media, El.kz reports with reference to the ministry.

The event was attended by journalists from Germany, India, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, the United States, the Czech Republic and Serbia, who were in Kazakhstan to cover the Summit of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

During the meeting, Yerzhan Yerkinbayev told reporters about the development of tourism in Kazakhstan, the current marketing policy and the country's visa regime

Particular attention was paid to expanding the list of countries with a visa-free regime and increasing the number of direct flights with Europe and the Middle East.

Journalists showed great interest in the development of the tourist flow, infrastructure and initiatives for the "Year of Kazakh Tourism in China".

The participants of the meeting shared their views on the tourism potential of Kazakhstan, the interests of tourists and travelers, as well as the prospects for further increasing the tourist flow between Kazakhstan and other countries.
