Upbringing of children discussed by Ministers of Defense and Education
Defense Minister Colonel-General Ruslan Zhaksylykov and Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev held a working meeting, El.kz reports with reference to the Defense Ministry.
The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of military-patriotic education of the younger generation and the organization of meaningful leisure for children and schoolchildren. It was also about the extension of the agreement between the departments on the use of the Altyn Emel complex, located on the shore of the Kapshagai reservoir.
The head of the defense department noted that today the training and recreation center on the territory of Altyn Emel is not fully functioning. He offered assistance in repairing the facilities of the branch of the Baldauren Republican Educational and Health Center in the city of Konaev, the construction of sports grounds and another canteen.
The ministers discussed the possibility of allocating recreation quotas for children of military personnel and servicemen of the Armed Forces, as well as the rehabilitation of children with special educational needs in four branches of the RHTC "Baldauren".
In turn, Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev supported the proposal on a quota for the rehabilitation of children of military personnel in all branches of the RHTC "Baldauren". He also noted that the doors of military units began to open more often for children.
"We see that now the work on the organization of "open days" in military units is becoming systematic. It is necessary to more actively involve students of graduating classes in the field of military-patriotic education, to acquaint them with the everyday life of the army," he said.
Minister Gani Beisembayev approved the involvement of military pensioners in working with children and adolescents as teachers-organizers of initial military training.
As a result of the meeting, the parties decided to work on the conclusion of an appropriate memorandum and the preparation of a joint work plan for the military-patriotic education of children and schoolchildren.
