"Unity and Solidarity have always been and will continue to be our main values and guideline of all state policy. To achieve success, it is necessary to focus efforts on the following urgent tasks, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said. - It is necessary to synchronize the activities of the Assembly with our new humanitarian and ideological doctrine.

At the meeting of the Kurultay in Atyrau, we summarized our key ideologies and defined a list of our basic values. These are Independence and Patriotism, Unity and Solidarity, Justice and Responsibility, Law and Order, Diligence and Professionalism, Creation and Innovation. These values set the meanings in all key areas, from politics and economics to education and culture.

They shape our image of the future and strengthen our civic identity, and the principles of the APK's activities are fully consistent with them.

After the meeting of the National Kurultai, I closely followed the course of the public discussion of its results: I read the reviews, wishes and recommendations of experts and simply concerned citizens.

In my opinion, the leitmotif of many of the opinions expressed was the idea that the Kurultai in Atyrau has become, in fact, the starting point of a new philosophy and ideology for the development of our nation.

At the same time, it should be understood that the national doctrine or platform stated  at the Kurultai will work in full force only if it receives the support of all leading civil society institutions. The Assembly has a decisive role to play in entrenching the progressive attitudes enshrined in it."
