UAE highly values work of congress of leaders of world and traditional religions
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates, Najmedin Mukhametaliuly, held a meeting with the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and presented with the Honorary Medal of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, recognizing his significant contribution to the promotion of interreligious dialogue, El.kz cites MFA.
During the meeting, the parties discussed shared approaches and collaboration in promoting the principles of peaceful coexistence and tolerance.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan emphasized the global importance of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, highlighting the pivotal role of spiritual leaders in addressing pressing issues facing humanity amid current geopolitical challenges.
In turn, Kazakh Ambassador reaffirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to strengthening interethnic and interfaith harmony and acknowledged the UAE’s remarkable achievements in advancing the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
Additionally, the Kazakh diplomat highlighted that the “Kazakhstan Born Bold” initiative is currently being implemented in the country under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This initiative aims to diversify Kazakhstan’s economy, reduce reliance on traditional sectors, and strengthen the country's position as a leader in emerging industries, ranging from artificial intelligence and technology to renewable energy and finance.
