Training for future women politicians takes place in Kokshetau
A three-day training for women to actively participate in the political life of the country began in Kokshetau,El.kz reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The training was organized by UN Women in Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Commission for Women's Affairs, Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- The training is aimed at increasing the political activity and leadership qualities of women. Women who have already participated in the elections or plan to participate in future election campaigns, heads of NGOs, civil society activists are being trained, the report says.
The program includes interactive classes, master classes and practical seminars. Participants will have the opportunity to improve their skills and prepare for active political activity, which will help strengthen the representation of women in government and take an active part in the development of the region and the country.
