Tourist satisfaction index in Almaty increased by 9.8%

The tourist satisfaction index in Almaty increased by 9.8%, reaching 76.61, El.kz reports with reference to the akimat of the Almaty . This indicator indicates the growing popularity of the city among international travelers. The main factors that attract tourists to Almaty include  mountains and nature (43%), art (21%) and an active lifestyle (17%).

In the period from January to April, ticket bookings in Almaty increased by 53.1%, reaching 69 thousand. The average length of stay is 4 to 7 days.

Among the booking leaders are  Turkey (+32.5%), South Korea and the UAE. Indians, Chinese and Turks are also actively looking for tickets to Almaty, starting planning a trip 84 days before departure. Travelers highly appreciated Almaty as a city that inspires!
