The tourism potential of Kazakhstan was presented in the capital of South Korea at the Road Show – “Visit Aktobe 2023”, El.kz cites MFA.
The Road Show was organized by the Akimat of the Aktobe region with the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in South Korea.
The event was attended by representatives of leading tour operators, airlines, tourism experts as well as the media of the two countries.
As part of the event, guests were familiarized with popular tourist routes of the Aktobe region, and the best works of Aktobe designers, artisans and jewelers were demonstrated. The guests were particularly interested in stands with traditional Kazakh sweets and treats.
Opening the event, Ambassador Nurgali Arystanov noted the positive growth dynamics of South Korean tourists and informed of the efforts to increase the number of flights and open new air routes between the two countries.
President of the Korea World Travel Fair (KOTFA) Shin Joong Mok emphasized that interest in Kazakhstan is growing in South Korea. He added that he hopes to cooperate with Kazakh tour operators.
Following the event, a number of bilateral meetings were held in the B2B format.
