Topical issues of Kazakh-Latvian trade and economic cooperation discussed in Riga
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Latvia Dauren Karipov met with Minister of Economy of the Republic of Latvia Viktor Valainis, El.kz cites MFA.
During the meeting, parties expressed satisfaction with the progressive development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as exchanged views and proposals for additional efforts to expand and deepen bilateral cooperation, including through the implementation of joint investment projects in various sectors of the economy. In this context, sides confirmed their interest in holding the next meeting of the Kazakhstan-Latvia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Riga this year.
In addition, Kazakh diplomat conveyed to Minister of Economy Viktor Valainis the invitation of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov to participate in Astana International Forum-2024 on the theme: “Empowering people, uniting nations: building a better world together”.
