Tokayev receives Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó

The Head of State received Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, who arrived in Astana on an official visit, El.kz reports via Akorda.
The President noted the high level of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Hungary. The progressive development of high-level political dialogue, as well as active intergovernmental cooperation, was emphasized.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed satisfaction with the dynamic implementation of the agreements signed during his state visit to Budapest last year.
According to him, their consistent implementation will contribute to further deepening of comprehensive partnership.
The Head of State conveyed greetings and best wishes to Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
Péter Szijjártó also conveyed warm greetings from the Prime Minister of Hungary to the President.
The Minister informed the Head of State that his visit to Astana is aimed at a substantive discussion with relevant ministries and departments of various aspects of the practical implementation of agreements previously reached at the highest level.
During the meeting, the sides considered a number of topical issues on the bilateral agenda, paying special attention to the expansion of mutually beneficial ties in trade, economic and investment spheres, as well as in the energy and banking sector. In addition, an exchange of views took place on topical international issues.
At the end of the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded Péter Szijjártó with the 2-nd Degree Dostyk Order for his contribution to the development of Kazakh-Hungarian relations.
