Tokayev receives First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar,El.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
The President was informed on the implementation of industrial projects and support for domestic producers.
According to Roman Sklyar, in the first half of the year, growth in the manufacturing industry amounted to 105.1%, in mechanical engineering - 9.4%, in the mining and metallurgical complex - 8.3%.
The Head of State was also briefed about the implementation of projects related to the construction of oil and gas pipelines, gas processing plants and petrochemical plants.
During the reporting period, 44.7 million tons of oil and gas condensate, as well as 30 billion cubic meters of gas were produced. By the end of the year, 128 settlements are set to be gasified, the level of gasification will reach 61.8%.
New infrastructure projects in the transport and energy sectors were reported separately.
The President was told about measures to prepare for the upcoming heating season. Work is underway to reconstruct 309 km of heat supply networks for a total amount of about 154 billion tenge. This year, it is planned to repair 10 power units, 55 boilers and 45 turbines for a total of 327 billion tenge.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the activities of the Council to attract investments, in particular, about the implementation of major investment projects with foreign partners, as well as on which agreements were reached during the foreign visits of the Head of State.
Since the reformatting of the Council's activities, problematic issues have been resolved on 77 investment projects worth about $40 billion. Particular attention is paid to projects with high added value in mechanical engineering, food and chemical industries, mining and metallurgy, energy and subsoil use.
Stressing the importance of the measures taken, the President ordered to continue relative work in these directions.
