The Head of State received the Deputy Chairmen of the APK, El.kz reports citing Akorda.
The President, congratulating the newly appointed Deputy Chairmen of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Yuri Shin and Lugmar Bularov, wished them successful work in strengthening the unity and consolidation of society.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also heard the report of the Deputy Chairman - Head of the APK Secretariat Marat Azilkhanov on the implementation of previously given instructions and the preparation of the XXXIII session of the Assembly.
The Head of State said that due to the current flood situation in a number of regions, he decided to hold the current session of the Assembly in an online format.
Members of regional APKs will take part in the event via videoconferencing. The President noted the great contribution of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in providing assistance to the victims of the natural disaster.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave a number of specific instructions to further improve the work of the APK.
