Tokayev holds meeting with Chairman of Agency for Financial Monitoring

At a meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Chairman of the Financial Monitoring Agency Zhanat Elimanov presented a report on the implementation of a comprehensive plan to combat the shadow economy, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

During the meeting, Elimanov also reported on bringing the national system to fight against money laundering in line with the international recommendations of the FATF.

President Tokayev gave the Chairman of the Agency a number of instructions aimed at further reducing the level of the shadow economy and ensuring transparency in the country's financial sector.
