Tokayev discusses construction of sorting hub in Almaty region with Chairman of the Board of YTO Express

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Yu Huijiao, Chairman of the Board of YTO Express, El.kz reports.

The Qazpost-YTO joint venture was created on the basis of Kazpost JSC and the Chinese logistics company YTO Express. The main goal is to develop a modern courier network in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries.

As part of the project, this year in the Almaty region it is planned to start construction of a sorting hub, which will speed up the delivery of postal items. It is also planned to create an industrial park near the hub.

The Head of State noted the strategic importance of the project and stressed that it should become an example of effective interaction between the state and international business.
