The Head of State expressed gratitude to Viktor Orban for his significant contribution to the rapprochement between Kazakhstan and Hungary.

- Mr. Prime Minister, welcome to the Kazakh land! In Kazakhstan, you are well known and respected, because you are of Kypshak origin. You can say that you have come to the homeland of your ancestors. Thank you for accepting my invitation and paying an official visit to Kazakhstan, as well as taking part in the anniversary summit of the Organization of Turkic States. Undoubtedly, this visit will give a new impetus to cooperation between the two countries. I am sure that today's talks will be fruitful," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

Viktor Orban thanked the President of Kazakhstan for the invitation and hospitality extended to him and the Hungarian delegation.

He highly appreciated the level of political dialogue and mutually beneficial partnership between Kazakhstan and Hungary.

"It's always nice to come home. Hungarians come to Kazakhstan with great pleasure, because we are connected by thousand-year-old common roots. Over the past decade, we have put a lot of effort into developing our cooperation, and good results have been achieved. It is a great honor for me to work with you. Hungary has always been a reliable strategic partner of Kazakhstan, and this will continue to be the case in the future. Relations between Hungary and Kazakhstan are as good as ever, but the potential, especially in the economy, is still great. We have good prospects," the Hungarian PM said.
