TikTok announces start of festival #Nauryz2024
TikTok is organizing an online festival in honor of the Kazakh holiday of Nauryz, inviting users across the country to celebrate the beginning of spring in a big way. Participants can share their holiday moments on the social network under the hashtag #Nauryz2024, and the most talented video creators will be awarded valuable prizes, El.kz reports.
This festival is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Company "Kazakh Tourism". The event is also attended by well-known content creators of the TikTok platform.
As part of the festival, users are invited to create videos and photos on topics related to cooking, national fashion, cultural legends and traditions, as well as music and dance. The goal of the #Nauryz2024 project is to popularize the culture of Kazakhstan at the world level. Yevgeniy Kochetov, Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted the importance of the project for promoting the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people and an opportunity for Kazakhstanis to celebrate Nauryz on a grand scale thanks to the support of TikTok.
