Strengthening Cultural Cooperation: Kazakhstan and Latvia Discussed the Prospects of Cooperation

In order to strengthen cooperation in the cultural sphere and discuss prospects for deepening cooperation between relevant organisations, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Dauren Karipov met with Latvia’s Minister of Culture Agnesa Logina.

During the conversation, the Kazakh diplomat informed the Latvian side about friendly and cultural ties between our nations, the functioning of Kazakh cultural and information centres in Latvia, cultural and creative events held and to be held, as well as comprehensive work in Kazakhstan to develop the field of culture and art. In addition, the Ambassador made a number of concrete proposals to boost bilateral relations in the cultural sector.

In turn, Agnesa Logina confirmed the interest in further development and deepening of bilateral cooperation in these areas, and readiness for practical implementation of the agreements reached.

The interlocutors agreed on the need to encourage mutual cultural exchange and maintain working contacts on all issues.
