Shymkent to provide financial aid on occasion of Victory Day

In Shymkent, a list of measures has been approved for the provision of one-time social assistance, timed to coincide with May 7 - Defender of the Fatherland Day and May 9 - Victory Day, El.kz reports.

This year, 1994 people will receive social support worth 147.1 million tenge.

- Participants and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War – 1272 MCI (5,001,504 tenge). The total amount is 10 million tenge.

- Veterans equated to participants in the Great Patriotic War - 45 MCI (176,940 tenge). 166 people will receive assistance. Total amount is 29.4 million tenge.

- Home front workers and unawarded veterans - 15 MCI (58,980 tenge). The assistance covers 1586 people. The total amount is 93.5 million tenge.

- Widows of disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War – 15 MCI (58,980 tenge). The assistance is intended for 70 people. In total - 4.1 million tenge.

- Bereaved military families – 15 MCI (58,980 tenge). 170 people will receive assistance. The total amount is 10 million tenge.

It should be noted that the provision of material support on these memorable dates is an annual measure of support from the state and local executive bodies. The assistance is aimed at supporting honored citizens and recognizing their contribution to the peace and security of the country.
