Senators meets with Council of Mothers of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan

Deputies of the Senate Committee on Socio-Cultural Development and Science met with representatives of state bodies and members of the Council of Mothers of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Senate of Kazakhstan.

The participants of the meeting discussed the organization of ideological and educational work in the army and military educational institutions.

The Chairman of the Committee, Nurtore Jusip, noted that, given the emerging geopolitical situation in the world, the quality of educational and ideological work in the army is becoming increasingly important.

"Recently, we have increasingly heard about deaths in the army, accompanied by active discussion in the media and social networks. All this negativity is suggestive. In addition, in connection with all this, opinions have recently been increasingly expressed from parents who do not want to send their children to the army," Nurtore Jusip said.

The participants of the meeting also shared a number of proposals for improving military ideological education, introducing the younger generation to the army, increasing the attractiveness and dignity of military service.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the main causes of suicide of military personnel are social and material problems, low adaptive potential.

Following the meeting, the participants noted that the joint work of all law enforcement agencies, deputies and members of the public will continue in this direction.
