Role of media and social networks in formation of ideology discussed in Senate
A round table on the topic "The role of the media and social networks in the formation of state ideology" was held today in the Senate. It was attended by deputies of the Senate, Minister of Information and Social Development Darkhan Kydyrali, as well as representatives of a number of ministries and akimats of regions, heads of republican media, media experts, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In his welcoming speech, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Social and Cultural Development and Science Nurtore Jusip noted the importance of considering new proposals to strengthen the information policy in the country.
"Now, when uncertainty and geopolitical tensions reign in the world, it is important to strengthen our ideological boundaries. There are many cases when our citizens fell under the influence of the external information space. And these problems should definitely not be left unresolved. As you know, in preparation for this meeting, we visited the office and studios of the El Arna TV channel and Kazakh Gazetteri LLP. The senators were able to see everything from the inside. At the same time, a number of issues requiring attention were identified," said Nurtore Jusip.
Minister of Information and Social Development Darkhan Kydyrali, in turn, told the senators about the novelties of the recently adopted information doctrine and about the work done in the development of the country's information ideology.
