President Tokayev visits Qarmet Center for Creative Technologies in Temirtau
As part of a working trip to the Karaganda region, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Qarmet Center for Creative Technologies, El.kz reports.
This center, created on the basis of the metallurgical plant, is designed to become a new point for the active and creative realization of the youth of the city of metallurgists.
Almas Siranov, Director of Non-Core Assets Management at Qarmet, informed the President that the Center has technosections on robotics, car modeling, unmanned aerial vehicle control, as well as a programming school, a school for bloggers, journalism, documentaries, podcast studios and other creative areas.
According to him, the Center will become not only the hallmark of the metallurgical plant, but also the entire city, as well as a platform for career guidance and the development of engineering skills among young people.
During a conversation with employees and veterans of the enterprise, representatives of trade unions, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that working people deserve the greatest respect.
The President stressed that the state is taking all necessary measures to improve their social status and create favorable conditions for work and life.
