President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in his article "Uly dalanyn zheti kyry " ("Seven facets of the Great steppe") made a suggestion to open Museum of Ancient Art and Technology of the Great Steppe, as well as to create a National club of historical reconstruction "Great civilizations of the Great Steppe".

According to Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan has all the opportunities to create Museum of Ancient Art and Technology of the Great Steppe "Uly dala".

"It is possible to collect samples of high art and technology, including products made in the animal style, the decoration of the "Golden man", objects that reflect the process of taming a horse, the development of metallurgy, the manufacture of weapons, equipment and other artifacts. To expand expositions of valuable archaeological finds and archaeological complexes found on the territory of Kazakhstan, which reflect the development of various sectors of the economy in the territory of our country in certain historical periods," Head of State writes in his article "Uly dalanyn zheti kyry."

President of Kazakhstan has proposed the establishment of a Nationwide club of historical reconstruction "Great civilization of the Great Steppe" and hold a festival in Astana and regions of Kazakhstan on the topics: ancient Sakas; Huns, Era of the great Turkic Kagan and others.

"Work on these topics can be carried out at the same time, gathering fans of the interests," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

"The tourist project on partial restoration of the ancient city of Otyrar with reconstruction of objects of the city environment - houses, streets, public places, a water supply system, a city wall and other will be interesting. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on the popularization of knowledge and the development of tourism on this basis," Head of State said.
