Ambassador of Kazakhstan Satybaldy Burshakov met with Chairman of the Group for Cooperation with Kazakhstan, Member of the Assembly (Parliament) of the Republic of North Macedonia Nikola Konjanovski, El.kz cites Kazakh FM.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral relations, as well as the prospects for cooperation between Kazakhstan and North Macedonia at different levels.
Ambassador Burshakov informed the deputy about the upcoming events planned this year as part of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The Ambassador invited Nikola Konjanovski and the Friendship Group headed by him to visit Astana and presented an official invitation on behalf of Member of the Mazhilis of Parliament, Head of the Kazakhstan-North Macedonia Interparliamentary Cooperation Group Nurtay Sabilyanov.
Moreover, the Kazakh diplomat told the head of the parliamentary group about the Astana International Forum to be held on May 29-30 this year under the patronage of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and informed him about the planned participation of the Macedonian party in the event.
Konjanovski expressed gratitude for the invitation to visit Kazakhstan and emphasized that the visit of the Macedonian members of Parliament would undoubtedly contribute to strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador thanked Konjanovski for the warm welcome and presented him with “The Book of Words” by the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayuly.
