Over 250 books by Kazakh authors presented at book fair in Germany
The world's largest book fair, Frankfurter Buchmesse 2024, has started in Germany. The event, which brought together more than 1,000 authors from 95 countries, presents books, magazines and newspapers from around the world,El.kz news agency reports with reference to the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan also takes part in this important cultural event. With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a special stand was organized for domestic publishers, where more than 250 books were exhibited. Over 30 representatives of Kazakhstan, including well-known public figures, publishers and translators participated at the event.
In addition to the exhibition part, the fair program includes seminars, round tables, concerts and other cultural events, which makes the Frankfurter Buchmesse an important international platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences.
