Over 20 people rescued on snow-covered roads of Kostanay region
On the territory of the Kostanay region, a storm warning was announced. Due to bad weather, emergency rescue operations were carried out on the highways, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan
At 10 km of the closed section of the highway of regional significance "Karasu-Bolshaya Churakovka" in the Karasu district, the Emergency Department forces consisting of 2 people towed two cars to the cleared section of the road. 6 people were rescued, including 3 children. People didn't need medical help.
The Emergency Department of the Altynsarinsky district received an urgent message that 5 km from the village of Shcherbakov on the road of district significance due to bad weather, there is a four vehicle collision with 12 passengers. Soon rescuers arrived at the scene and loaded the passengers on the all-road vehicle. Rescued citizens were safely taken to the heating point of Shcherbakov secondary school
7 km from the village of Kaskat on the highway of district significance in the Mendykara district, the Emergency Situations Department together with local executive bodies rescued 3 people from snow captivity.
