Our youth have low level of legal literacy – Tokayev
Senior police officers should visit schools and universities, explaining to the younger generation the importance of laws and the consequences of violating them. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke about this at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, El.kz cites Akorda.
Unfortunately, our young people have a low level of legal literacy. The younger generation does not know the laws well and often does not fully realize the importance of their strict observance. The consequences of such legal illiteracy can be very serious, the President warned, adding that the rule of law should prevail in the country - "only in this case there will be order in society."
According to the Head of State, police officers should convey this simple truth to all citizens, and especially young people.
