On telephone conversation of Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and UK
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held a telephone conversation with Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland David Lammy at the initiative of the British side, El.kz cites MFA.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, welcoming the steady strengthening of relations between Kazakhstan and UK in the spirit of strategic partnership. The talks focused on the further development of political dialogue, engagement in trade and economic sphere, as well as investment and education projects.
The ministers highlighted the importance of the upcoming 8th meeting of the Kazakhstan – UK Strategic Dialogue as one of the effective platforms to discuss key aspects of the bilateral and multilateral agenda and develop new initiatives to deepen the mutually beneficial partnership between Astana and London.
Both officials reaffirmed their mutual interest in consolidating efforts to further advance Kazakh-British relations.
