Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak discussed topical issues of Kazakh-Russian cooperation in the energy, oil, gas and infrastructure sectors, El.kz cites primeminister.kz.
The sides expressed their readiness for the joint implementation of promising projects. In particular, issues of construction of thermal power plants in the cities of Kokshetau, Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk, modernization of the units No. 3 and No. 4 of Ekibastuz GRES-2, and other important areas of cooperation were discussed.
