New Vice-Chairmen of Kazakh Atomic Energy Agency appointed

By the orders of the Head of State, Timur Zhantikin and Asset Makhambetov have been appointed Deputy Chairmen of the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

Both executives have experience in energy and public service. The new appointments are aimed at strengthening the Agency's staff responsible for the development and control of the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

The Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan is engaged in the implementation of state policy in the field of nuclear safety, radiation monitoring, international cooperation and development of nuclear infrastructure.
