Morocco, Montenegro and Oman introduce visa free regime for Kazakhstanis

Kazakhstan has ratified an agreement on mutual visa exemption with Morocco, Montenegro and Oman,El.kz reports.
Kazakh FM continues to work on simplifying the visa regime with various states. On March 19, 2025, the Agreement on Mutual Exemption from Visa Requirements between Kazakhstan and Morocco comes into force. Now citizens of both countries who have national passports will be able to stay in the territory of the other state without visas for up to 30 calendar days within every 6-month period, starting from the day of entry into the country. This agreement opens up new opportunities for tourist, business and cultural exchanges between Kazakhstan and Morocco.
In addition, the Montenegrin authorities have extended the visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan until December 31, 2025.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman also announced the extension of the visa-free regime for Kazakh citizens with national passports. Now Kazakhstanis can stay in Oman for up to 30 days instead of the previous 14.
However, it is important to keep in mind that the visa-free regime does not apply to work, education and permanent residence.
