During the meeting, the Minister thanked UNDP for its support in the implementation of joint projects in the field of environmental protection, climate change and sustainable development

"Kazakhstan is committed to the trends of low-carbon development. So in February of this year, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the Strategy for Achieving The Neutrality of Kazakhstan until 2060, which Kazakhstan plans to present at the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC. The strategy is aimed at reflecting both the economic and social benefits of the country from the transition to low-carbon development," said Zulfiya Suleimenova.
