Kazakhstan's trade turnover with EAEU countries increased by 4%

In the first half of this year, Kazakhstan's trade turnover with the EAEU countries reached $13.8 billion. USA - 4.1% more than a year earlier. Including trade with Russia amounted to $12.7 billion. Exports from Kazakhstan to the EAEU countries reached $5.4 billion. USA, while showing an increase of 36.8% per year. The share of the EAEU in the export structure is 14.3%.

The most notable item of Kazakhstan's exports to the EAEU countries in January-June 2023 was inorganic chemical products (by USD 890.4 million, plus 54.3% per year. Notable export volumes were also for flat products made of iron and steel, land vehicles, aircraft, floating vehicles and transport-related devices and equipment, artificial corundum, iron ores and concentrates.

At the same time, Kazakhstan imported primarily pipes made of ferrous metals: for 468.3 million. USA - 2.3 times more than a year earlier. Popular import goods were also petroleum and petroleum products, iron and steel bars, diesel fuel, flat products made of iron and steel.

Meanwhile, the obligations of residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan to investors from the EAEU countries in March of this year amounted to $19.4 billion. USA - 2.5% less than a year earlier.

Including liabilities to investors from Armenia amounted to $ 16.9 million. USA (annual growth - 2.1 times), from Belarus - 231.5 million dollars. USA (annual growth - 1.5 times), from Kyrgyzstan - $ 233.1 million. USA (annual growth - 1.5 times), from Russia - 18.9 billion dollars. USA (minus 3.4% per year).

For comparison: in the same period last year, the obligations of residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan to investors from the EAEU countries reached $19.9 billion. USA, showing annual growth of 57% at once.
