Kazakhstan’s Alexander Cherepanov wins Young Artist award in New York

Citizens of the Roof film has won the “Best Young Actor” award (15 year old Alexander Cherepanov) and was selected as finalist at Best 1st Time Director nomination at the Oniros Film Award, El.kz reports with reference to QAZAQ CULTURE.

The Oniros Film Awards is a prestigious international competition recognized by IMDb. The award takes place every three months in New York and celebrates the outstanding work of filmmakers from around the world.

“Citizens of the Roof” was shot by the film company "SMAG Production" by order of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the State Center for Support of National Cinema.
