Kazakhstanis named main values of society
According to a sociological survey conducted by the KazISS, "Law and Order" is one of the three key national values of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.
According to the survey conducted by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies in its Telegram channel the Justice is the main value for 84.1% of Kazakhstanis. In second place on the list of priorities is law and order (83.5%), and labor ( 83.4%).
During an expanded meeting of the Government, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid special attention to the issue of law and order, stressing the need to further strengthen this principle in society. The Head of State also noted the importance of forming "zero tolerance" for offenses and strengthening the principle of inevitability of punishment.
State Counsellor Yerlan Karin noted that compliance with laws and strengthening public discipline are becoming more and more relevant today in many countries of the world. Kazakh society also demonstrates a high demand for justice and order, which underscores the importance of further reforms in the field of law and order.
