Kazakhstan wins 11 medals at ISF U15 Gymnasiade Zlatibor

Kazakhstan’ national team set a record for the number of awards at the ISF U15 Gymnasiade Zlatibor 2025, El.kz reports citing the Enlightenment Ministry.
The world's largest multi-sport competition for schoolchildren aged 13-15 was held from April 4 to 14 in the Serbian city of Zlatibor. Over 3 thousand athletes from more than 65 countries took part at the event.
Kazakhstan was represented by 23 schoolchildren who competed in boxing, judo, freestyle wrestling and chess. Young athletes won 11 medals.
Boxing (5 gold, 1 bronze):
– Aibek Sadyk
– Shyngyskhan Makarov
– Nurtas Alimbai
– Sailaukazi Symbat
– Nurbolat Amir
– Alikhan Smagul (bronze)
Judo:
– Bakdaulet Serikali (gold)
– Yerasyl Kalmakhanbet (bronze)
Wrestling:
– Viskhan Arashov (silver)
– Mansur Akylbay, Nurkozha Kalybek (bronze)
Chess:
Oltinay Algapparova and Zhanat Nurym were awarded the International Fair Play Prizes for compliance with ethical standards.
Kazakhstan has been participating in the ISF Gymnasiade since 2022, and for three years, the country's young athletes have been demonstrating high results in the international arena.
