Kazakhstan to increase wheat and meat export to Europe through Russia

Kazakhstan intends to increase the supply of wheat and other agricultural products to European countries through the territory of Russia. It was stated during the talks between the Kazakh and Russian PMs, El.kz reports citing primeminister.kz.

The parties reached an agreement on the partial lifting of restrictions on the export of meat products from our country.

"Due to the epizootic situation in Kazakhstan, the Russian side previously imposed restrictions on the import of meat products. Today we have agreed with our Russian colleagues and lifted this restriction on the southern and southeastern regions" Vice Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Azat Sultanov said.
