Kazakhstan to create Academy of Education
Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan discussed the launch of the Academy of Education with the Education University of Hong Kong President John Lee Chi-Kin, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, representatives of the Ministry and EdUHK outlined plans to create a joint Academy to promote modern research in the field of pedagogy.
Particular attention was paid to partnership with two leading universities - Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.
The agreement will facilitate academic exchange not only between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong, but also cover other countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
The developers of the initiative have three main goals. First, engage in interdisciplinary projects that will allow you to form progressive approaches to learning. Second, to establish closer contacts with Central Asia and strengthen Kazakhstan's position as a significant educational center. Thirdly, to create the "Artificial Intelligence and Inclusive Education" at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the "STEAM Leadership Academy and Assessment" at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University.
As a result, teachers will be able to improve their skills in working with children with special educational needs, master the latest technologies and develop effective methods of assessment.
In addition to scientific research, the cooperation program includes international conferences and forums, research schools and mobile programs for teachers.
Joint projects, advanced training of teachers and other initiatives are also planned to contribute to the exchange of experience and improve the quality of the educational environment.
