The Head of State signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Ratification of the Agreement on Free Trade in Services, Establishment, Operations and Investment". The text of the Law is published in the press, El.kz reports via Aqorda.
The purpose of this Agreement is to create a free trade zone in services between the CIS member countries, which should contribute to the improvement of economic ties and the expansion of trade opportunities in the region.
The agreement does not address issues related to public procurement, land use, subsoil use, natural monopolies and regulation of renewable energy sources in Kazakhstan.
