Kazakhstan proposes Middle Corridor development strategy at Antalya Diplomacy Forum

Kazakhstan's Minister of Transport, Marat Karabayev took part at the 4th Antalya Diplomatic Forum, El.kz reports with reference to official information.
The event was held in Turkey and brought together over 6 thousand participants, including 21 heads of state and government, as well as 64 ministers. The main theme of this year's forum is "Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World."
Within the framework of the forum, the Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan took part t in a panel discussion on the topic “Organization of Turkic States: a unique model of cooperation”. High-level representatives of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and the Secretary General of the OTS also participated in the discussion.
Speaking at the session, Marat Karabayev stressed the importance of developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), also known as the Middle Corridor. He noted that this is not just a logistics route, but an integration system that includes digital, energy and infrastructure components.
"On behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, we are moving towards Kazakhstan becoming a key logistics hub in the region, playing a connecting role between Asia and Europe," the minister said.
During the panel discussion, special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between the Turkic countries in the face of geopolitical challenges. The participants noted significant progress in regional integration and outlined priority areas for joint work, from infrastructure to people-to-people diplomacy.
On the sidelines of the forum, Marat Karabayev also held bilateral talks with Burkina Faso Karamoko Jean-Marie Traoré. Possible points of contact in energy, trade and industry were discussed. In addition, the minister held meetings with representatives of Turkish business.
