The bond issuance was accompanied by a one-day virtual roadshow that attracted over 100 investors from the US, UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East,El.kz reports.
Moody's rating agency upgraded Kazakhstan's sovereign credit rating to Baa1.
The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan managed to achieve optimal conditions for the issue, and the total volume of applications amounted to almost $6 billion.
This issue will strengthen Kazakhstan's financial stability and serve as a benchmark for other issuers to enter international capital markets.
