Kazakhstan participates in international tourism exhibition in Beijing

Kazakhstan participates in the international tourism exhibition China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market (COTTM) in Beijing,El.kz reports.

The country's tourism potential is represented by 21 exhibitors, including 12 tour operators and 7 hotel and resort complexes.

China is one of the priority tourist markets for Kazakhstan. Since November 2023, there has been a mutual visa-free regime between the countries for up to 30 days, and the number of flights has been increased to 44 flights per week. According to the eQonaq system, in the first 10 months of 2024, over 122 thousand Chinese tourists visited Kazakhstan, which is 64% more compared to the same period last year.

The exhibition will host the Outbound Tourism Investment & Development Forum, which will present the investment potential of Kazakhstan to attract international investors.
