Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of the National Security Committee on July 13. The National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established by decree of Nursultan Nazarbayev. Every year this day is celebrated as a professional holiday, El.kz reports.

The National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NSC RK) is a special state body that is subordinate to the people of Kazakhstan through elected representatives and reports to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It plays an important role in ensuring the security and sovereignty of the country.
