Kazakhstan appoints deputy chairman of Nuclear Energy Agency

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has decreed to appoint deputy chairman of the Nuclear Energy Agency, El.kz reports citing Aqorda.

By the President’s decree, Gumar Sergazin has been appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Nuclear Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Atomic Energy Agency plays a key role in the implementation of state policy for the development of the energy sector, the introduction of modern technologies and compliance with international standards in the field of nuclear energy.
