Kazakhstan and Tatarstan strengthen partnership in field of sports
Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Marzhikpayev held a meeting with Chairman of the Olympic Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Bariyev, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the department.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of sports, as well as the upcoming international competitions.
The head of the department noted the successful organization of international competitions and stressed that at the BRICS Games, the national team of Kazakhstan was represented by 114 athletes in 16 sports. The minister paid special attention to the 5th World Nomad Games and the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris.
"Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan in the field of sports opens up new horizons for our athletes. We see great potential in the exchange of experience and joint preparation for international competitions, which will allow us to reach even greater heights," said Yermek Marzhikpayev.
The minister also stressed that the Russian national team confirmed its participation in the World Nomad Games consisting of about 200 participants in almost all sports.
At the end of the meeting, the minister expressed confidence in the skill of Tatarstan athletes at the World Nomad Games, which will be held in September this year in Astana.
